Pooki came into our family the day Daisy adopted her — and from that moment on, life revolved around making sure she was safe, healthy, and happy. Like every pet parent, Daisy quickly learned how stressful pet transportation could be, especially for a nervous rescue cat. Every vet trip felt like a small ordeal — for Pooki and for her.
One day, after another anxious car ride wrestling Pooki into a carrier, Daisy realized: there had to be a better way. Not just for Pooki, but for every pet parent juggling work, traffic, and a four-legged family member who didn't sign up for the ride.
So we built one. Pooki is named after the cat who started it all — and every ride we give is a small thank-you to her, and to every adopted pet who deserves a calm, caring trip.

One-way rides start at $55 and round trips at $95. Your exact price depends on the pickup and drop-off addresses — enter both in the booking form and you'll see it instantly. The price shown is an estimate; the final total may be a little higher if there's extra wait time, an added stop, or tolls.
Not at booking. We save your card only to hold the reservation. You're charged after the ride is complete — never before — and tolls or parking, if any, are added at cost afterward.

We're based in Alexandria, VA and serve the DC Metro area. Trips beyond about 45 miles need a custom quote — just call or text and we'll sort out pricing for a longer trip.
On round trips, yes — your driver waits with your pet and brings them home. The first 30 minutes are included; longer waits are added in 15-minute blocks. One-way trips are drop-off only.
Tell us in the notes when you book — anxiety, medications, carrier requirements, multiple pets, anything. Our drivers are experienced with nervous and special-needs pets and will take good care of them.
Cancel more than 12 hours before pickup and it's free. Within 12 hours of a confirmed booking, a $55 late-cancellation fee applies. Once your driver is on the way, a cancellation or no-show is charged at the estimated fare. Emergencies and events beyond anyone's control are handled with care — no penalty.
